Tonight, alongside the Canadian Sharon Fichman, Olmos seeks to have her best performance. The Mexican is playing for a historic victory that would place her in the semifinals.
His opponents in the third round robin match of the El Tajín group will be Su-Wei Hsieh of Taipei and Elise Mertens of Belgium. Although they lost their first two matches, Olmos and Fichman will advance if they manage to beat their rivals in two sets and if the other match of their group the Czechs Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova defeat Alexa Guarachi and Desirae Krawczyk.
